I trade across a wide range of markets, but the thesis rarely changes shape: macroeconomic data and fundamentals come first. Rate decisions, inflation and growth prints, policy shifts and risk sentiment build the directional view. Technicals only decide timing and where the risk sits.
I don't marry one instrument — I follow wherever the macro story is clearest: currencies, indices, commodities and beyond. The framework stays constant; only the fundamentals change from market to market.
Reading macro across that many markets is noisy and slow. I built FXSentinel to fix my own workflow — it aggregates and filters the news and data that actually move price, so my time goes into the thesis, not ten open tabs. 500+ other traders now use it for the same reason, and I'm turning the repeatable parts of my process into a system on top of it.
Fixed risk per trade, defined before entry. No averaging into losers. Stops are non-negotiable. Size comes from account percentage, never conviction.
The hard part isn't the analysis — it's staying flat when there's no setup, and not revenge-trading after a loss. Every trade gets journaled. Still learning.
